Upland Depot Museum to host two exhibits starting Saturday, November 22 - December 17th
The Upland Historical Society invites the public to visit the Upland Depot for two special exhibits that will stay in residence until December 17th.
“The Great War,” is a traveling exhibit from the Indiana Historical Society exploring Indiana’s role in World War I. It is accompanied by a local exhibit curated by the Upland Historical Society titled “Homefront Dispatches: Stories from The Monitor.”
The local exhibit features original newspaper articles and photographs from The Upland Monitor, providing a vivid look at how the Great War affected everyday life in Upland—from young men answering the call to serve, to families and neighbors supporting the war effort at home.
